Upcoming Nissan Cars in India

As part of its recovery plan, Nissan is set to introduce six new models in India by 2025-26. The first among these is expected to be the 4th-generation X-Trail, a premium mid-size SUV that will likely be imported via the CBU (Completely Built-Up) route. It will compete with established rivals such as the Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tiguan.

Nissan is also gearing up to tap into the burgeoning compact SUV segment, pitting itself against popular models like the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, and others. The Juke is anticipated to be Nissan’s answer to this competitive space.

In the electric vehicle (EV) domain, Nissan is planning to introduce a global EV, possibly the Ariya electric crossover, offering an impressive range of 580-610 km, depending on the battery size. This move aligns with the growing interest in electric mobility in India.

Moreover, Nissan aims to strengthen its presence in the sub-4 meter space with the launch of three new models. This lineup may include a compact SUV, a compact 7-seater MPV, potentially based on the Renault Triber platform, and an entry-level electric car, further diversifying its offerings.
