Hyundai Creta is the only SUV that continued for a long and is still on the list of top 10best selling cars in the Indian car market. In the 2014 Beijing motor show, the Creta was showcased first ever. In 2015 The Creta started its marathon in the Indian Midsize SUV segment. The design, Comfort, and prices got a bit update when the Korean giant launched a new next-gen Hyundai Creta in the Indian market in 2020.

Design

Hyundai Creta got an update in every angle of design. The front profile was completely changed and the new design comes with full of black and chrome finish in the radiator grille, Cute and attractive unique headlamps and DRLs, a Skid plate, the front design of Creta is amazing and the car gives a very good road presence too. The side profile is rich with its 16-inch alloys the tail lamp which imitates the headlamp and other features like the Rear skid plate, Spoiler is well organized in the rear profile. Creta is the 1620mm-in height with 2610 mm wheelbase and 444 liters of Boot space which is quite impressive than its rivals like Kia Seltos.

Interior

The materials used in the next-gen Creta are impressive. The dashboard, center console, and other features and utilization of space is another impressive thing about the new Hyundai Creta. The cabin has enough space, a Knee room, and headroom for first and second raw passengers. Features in the next-gen Creta includes a 10.25-inch touch screen infotainment system, 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, Multi-function four-spoke steering wheel, Panoramic sunroof, electric parking brake, leather upholstery, Front seat ventilation, powered driver seat, paddle shifters, the Blue link connected car technology and boss audio system decorate inside. Furthermore, tyre pressure monitoring system, rear sun blinds, and air purifiers are also offered in this mid-size SUV

Safety

The KIA Seltos which comes from the same family as Hyundai scored a 3-star rating out of 5 on its Global NCAP crash test which is marginal, not impressive. The Hyundai Creta is still not tested by Global NCAP. The safety features include Anti – Lock braking system with EBD, Dual airbags, rear defogger, Rear parking sensor, Electronic stability control, Vehicle stability management, Hill-start assist, and side curtain airbags in its top models.

Engine and performance

The Hyundai Creta has a total of 3 engine options includes diesel and 2 petrol mills. 1493cc Diesel engine generates 113 bhp of power and 250 nm of Maximum torque. A 1.5 Liter Mpi petrol engine produces 113 bhp of power and 144nm of torque and the 1353cc petrol engine generates 133 bhp of power and 242 nm of torque. The Creta offers an ARAI mileage of 16 kmph. Creta comes with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission.
