New Alto k10 2022 Launched in India – Details

Alto K10 2022: The Indo-Japanese car maker Maruti Suzuki (MSI LTD) Launched the entry-level hatchback Alto k10 2022 in India on 18 August 2022 through the company’s youtube channel. The new Alto K10 is priced from Rs. 3.99 Lakh ex-showroom. The new Alto k10 is developed in the new fifth-generation heartect platform, and the design interior and powertrains are changed. The new k10 2022 now comes with the 1.0 Liter K series petrol engine which debuted in Maruti Suzuki S presso. The hatchback will be sold alongside the Alto 800.

The new Alto k10 2022 will be available in 4 different variants namely Std, Lxi, Vxi, and Vxi plus are further divided into different variants according to the powertrain and transmission options. The new hatchback will continue to have an optional Automatic gearbox with the standard manual.

As mentioned the Alto k10 will be based on the heartect platform, the design inspired by Maruti Suzuki celerio. The car comes with a total of six color options namely, Silky Silver, Granite Grey, Sizzling Red, Solid White, Speedy Blue, and Earth Gold.

Dimension, Features, Engine, and Transmission

The new Alto K10 2022 will have changes compared to the outgoing model including exterior and dimensions. Maruti Alto K10 2022 comes with  3530mm in length, 1490mm in width,1520mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2380mm. The dimensions show that the new model is slightly longer and taller than its predecessor which will allow more leg room and headroom for its passengers.

Like the design and powertrain, the comfort and convenience features have also been updated in the new K10 model. The features in the hatchback include a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay a 4-speaker audio system digital instrument cluster steering-mounted audio and voice controls etc. As safety features of a car are more legal in the country, the new K10 comes with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, speed-sensing door locks, seatbelts with pre-tensioners, and others.

The 2022 Alto will run from its 1.0liter 3 cylinder K series petrol unit which makes 65 hp of maximum power and 89 nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual and an optional AMT gearbox. The new model of Alto will deliver a mileage of 24.9 kmpl.

Rival of New Alto K10 2022

The Only rival of the new alto K10 is the Renault Kwid . But the alto k10 new model is a bit pricier than the Alto 800 which comes with a price range of Rs. 3.39 Lakh to Rs. 5.04 Lakh ex-showroom.
