The Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the new celerio on Nov 10-2021. The car is completely changed in terms of its design, interior, Engine and in price as well. The new celerio is now expensive than the Wagon R. The price for New celerio 2021 starts from Rs 4.99 Lakh and goes up to 6.94 Lakh ex-showroom. The car comes in 4 different variants LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+. New celerio 2021 will slightly compete with Hyundai Santro, Tata Tiago and Datsun go. New Celerio 2021: Exterior and Interior

The exterior design of the new celerio is completely changed from the ongoing. The car got an attractive boxy flowing design and the front view somehow justifies the combined designing of Spresso and Maruti Swift. The new Maruti Suzuki Celerio is based on the Heartect platform where the Wagon R, Swift, and Baleno were used.

The new celerio has 3,695mm in length, 1,655mm in width, 1,555mm in height, 2435mm wheelbase, and 170mm of ground clearance. The length and height are similar to its existing model but a 55mm improvement in the new model’s width and 10mm in ground clearance Oval-shaped headlamps, Crom line on the new grill, round designed fog lamps and squarish design is the main highlight.

The new Maruti celerio might come with six monotone color options- Silky Silver, Arctic White, Glistening Grey, Speedy Blue, Caffeine Brown, and Solid Fire Red. simple rear profile and a 15-inch Alloy wheel in higher variants are the other notable exterior elements.

Interior

The Interior also changed completely from the outgoing model. The 7-inch touch screen Maruti play audio system is the highlight. The cabin comes with the black theme with chrome elements and the features like steering wheel and arrangement of power window switches look familiar with Wagon R and S presso. As its dimensions are improved, the cabin space also got its impact.

Features

Celerio 2021 gets features like Push-button start-stop, Android auto and apple car play, Keyless Entry, Steering mounted controls, 60:40 seats, an auto window for the driver side, Voice recognition, electrically adjustable ORVM, and  Safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and brake assist, speed-sensitive door lock, rear parking sensors, and hill hold assist for the selected variants. But the new model misses features like automatic AC and rear parking sensor compared to its rivals.

Engine and Performance

The 1.0 Liter three-cylinder K10C petrol engine produces 66hp of power and 89Nm of maximum torque. The claimed ARAI mileage of the car is the best in the market -26.68kmpl for its Automatic version.

The engine features a Dual VVT with idle start-stop technology as first in celerio.
