Upcoming new electric cars in India: The global car market has switched to electric vehicles or to the so-called EVs in the last couple of years.

India world’s 4th largest car market has no exception. All the car manufactures are trying to deliver their cars to the Indian market and it includes EVs too

The upcoming new electric car brands include – Maruti Suzuki, Nissan, BMW, Audi, Tata Motors, Renault, and several other companies too. The expected date of launch and the ex-showroom  price may vary

1. Mahindra XUV300 Electric

The Indian carmaker Mahindra and Mahindra is used to call the specialist for launching SUVs in the Indian market. Popular SUVs like Mahindra Scorpio, XUV 300, XUV 500, XUV 700 are some of the attractions. Mahindra also plans to launch XUV 300 in Electric power.

There are two to three cars that are popular in the Indian electric segment of Cars. Tata Tigor EV, MG ZS EV, Tata Nexon EV and Hyundai Kona. The best electric car in India to date is Tata Nexon either in terms of features, design, performance, or in terms of sales. But more Electric products from different carmakers are yet to come and couldn’t conclude so fast.

Is there any 7 seater electric car or SUV  in India?

As we discussed above, Tata Nexon is the most popular and top-selling electric car in India. The Tata Nexon EV is not a 7 seater SUV. It’s a 5 seater C-SUV in fact Nexon EV is the Electric version of Tata Nexon. Till now there is no 7 Seater electric car available in India.
