Following the launch of the KIA EV6 electric in the country, KIA is now ready to launch the KIA EV 9 electric in India, which has been spotted testing several times and is now being tested undisguised. The price could be around 75-80 lakh. The KIA EV9 will also be imported into India via CBU. According to the image, the front resembles the KIA Carens, with cube LED headlamps with Z-shaped DRLs, a closed-off grille, and a prominent bumper. The KIA EV9 will be 5,015 mm long, 1,980 mm wide, and 1,780 mm tall. The wheelbase is 3,100mm.

The KIA EV 9 allows users to customize their powertrain from three options. The base RWD variant is powered by a 76.1 kWh battery and a single 215 hp electric motor. The approximate range is 350 kilometers. The Kia EV9 long-range variant is powered by a 99.8 kWh battery and a single 201 hp electric motor. The approximate range is 489 kilometers. Users can also select the dual-motor variant, which produces 379 hp of maximum power. The approximate range is 450 kilometers. Kia EV9 offers both fixed and portable charging options. Fast charging is supported, allowing users to travel 248 kilometers in 15 minutes. The fast charger can charge from 10% to 80% in 24 minutes.
