2023 Hyundai Verna- Launch, Rivals, Price & Level 2 ADAS

Hyundai plans to launch the all-new 6th generation Hyundai Verna in India on March 21, 2023. Prices are expected to start at Rs.11.50 lakh ex-showroom. The all-new Hyundai Verna will compete directly with popular sedans such as the Honda City, Maruti Ciaz, Volkswagen Virtus, and others.

Before the launch, the automaker revealed some of its features and specifications, which include more than 60 safety features that will be included in the new model. According to reports, 30 of the 65 safety features will become standard. Among all the safety features, ADAS will be the most talked about. The Hyundai Verna may be equipped with level 2 ADAS technology.

  • Electronic Brake Distribution

  • Three-point seat belts for all passengers

Engine specification

The new 6th generation Hyundai Verna will be powered by a 1.5 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine with 115ps – 144Nm and a new 1.5 Liter turbo petrol engine with 160ps -252Nm. The 6th generation Verna will have a six-speed manual, CVT, and seven-speed DCT transmission options.
