And while countless SUV models hit the market every single year, only a select few of them can be placed into the luxury cars category, making them some of the most anticipated cars of the year. 1. 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer
As a brand, Jeep is known for manufacturing rugged SUVs with off-road capabilities that allow its drivers to take the car on crazy adventures without giving it a second thought. So, it might
come as a surprise that Jeep has also decided to make its entry into the world of luxury SUVs with its new 2022 Grand Wagoneer.
The luxury SUV will be powered by a powerful 471 hp 6.4-liter V-8 engine with 8-speed
automatic transmission. Despite its proportions, the Grand Wagoneer is easy to drive and offers a smooth and relaxing ride.
There’s no shortage of luxurious features when it comes to the interior of the car. The SUV boasts wood accents, ambient interior lighting, and plenty of high-tech features such as a
camera-fed rearview mirror, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and a rear seat monitoring system.
2. 2022 Jeep Commander
Known as Jeep Commander in the South American market and Jeep Meridian in India’s, Jeep’s newest addition to the ever-growing family of premium SUVs is a 3-row 7 seater SUV that was inspired by second-generation compass.
The midsize SUV is equipped with impressive features and specifications, ranging from the 1.3-liter turbo flex petrol engine that produces 400 Nm of torque, to an 8-speed automatic gearbox with 4-wheel-drive capabilities.
Additionally, there’s no shortage when it comes to the features that the 2022 Jeep Commander boasts. Whether it’s the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, luxury upholstery, automatic climate control, ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof, this luxurious SUV has got it all.
3. 2022 Ferrari Purosangue SUV
When you think of Ferraris, it’s highly likely that an image of a sleek sports car will come to your mind. Well, it seems like the Italian luxury sports car manufacturer is about to change that image with their new 2022 Ferrari Purosangue SUV.
Expected to cost an astronomical price of $350,000 and upwards, the Ferrari Purosangue SUV will hit the market sometime in 2022, which is why not much information has been released about it yet.
It’s thought that the Purosangue–which, a fun fact, was named after the horse breed Purosangue Orientale–will be equipped with either a turbocharged V-8 or a V-12 engine. Moreover, there are speculations that it might turn out to be a hybrid car with an engine similar to that of the 2014 Laferrari hypercar.
While the interior of the car still remains in the dark as they haven’t released any photos yet, it’s believed that the luxury SUV will be adorned with leather and carbon-fiber trim that will exude elegance and opulence.
4. 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe
When it comes to the most anticipated cars of the year, the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe tops that list without a doubt. According to Hyundai, it seems like the car manufacturer has a lot of surprises in store for us–and by surprises, we’re talking about features that no one has ever seen before in a car.
The luxury midsize crossover is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine; however, buyers that want to take it to the next level can opt for the turbocharged 2.5-liter mill. The sale of Hyundai Santa Fe in the US is expected at the end of 2022. The car comes with an attractive design and with minor changes. there is no change in exhaust design of the model
5. 2022 Alfa Romeo Tonale
If there’s one word that could simply describe the 2022 Alfa Romeo Tonale, it definitely would be ‘swanky’. The Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo is setting foot into the territory of luxury SUVs for the first time, and it’s safe to say that they nailed it with the design and specification of the 2022 Tonale.
The curvy bodywork of the exterior along the iconic Scudetto grille gives the SUV a futuristic yet sophisticated look. As for the engine of this masterpiece of a car, it’s expected that the car will have a turbocharged four-cylinder engine in addition to a rear-mounted electric motor to deliver a smooth performance.
The interior of the Tonale–now that’s a whole nother story. The luxury SUV will be adorned with aluminum, fine leather for the ultimate comfort, while the central tunnel will have translucent backlit panels that look like something out of a sci-fi movie. It will also boast a
10.3-inch touchscreen with features like ‘Alfista’ and ‘Paddock’, which will allow Tonale drivers to connect with Alfa clubs and community events.
