Top 7 Upcoming Cars in India

Toyota Rumion:

Maruti Suzuki and Toyota have been partners in business for quite some time. In collaboration with Maruti Suzuki, Toyota Kirloskar Motor is now preparing to launch the Toyota Rumion, a new MPV based on the popular Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The Rumion is positioned as an affordable alternative in the MPV segment, competing with vehicles such as the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the Renault Triber.

The Rumion shares a 1.5-liter petrol engine with the Maruti Ertiga, producing 103 horsepower and 137 Nm of torque.

This engine provides ample performance for both short and long trips, with the option of a five-speed manual transmission or a smooth-shifting six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Hyundai Creta Adventure Edition

Hyundai Motor India is getting ready to reveal the Adventure Edition of its wildly popular and best-selling Creta SUV. Creta Adventure edition features a one-of-a-kind ‘Ranger Khaki’ color, a dual-tone finish, and a contrasting black roof.. Blacked-out elements on the front and rear bumper garnishes, roof rails, wing mirrors, and alloy wheels add to the Adventure Edition’s rugged appearance..

The Special Edition may include features such as an all-black interior that exudes a premium and adventurous ambiance. Hyundai aims to improve the overall cabin experience with contrast stitching on the upholstery and Adventure Edition insignias on the seat headrests and door sills.

Tata Punch CNG

Tata Motors is about to add the much-anticipated Tata Punch CNG to its CNG vehicle lineup. This micro-SUV has gotten a lot of attention since its debut at the Auto Expo 2023. The Punch CNG is expected to have the same efficient 1.2-liter three-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine as its petrol-powered counterpart. The Tata Punch CNG will receive 30×2 CNG tanks. This Micro SUV could have a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch TFT Multi-Information Display in the instrument console, automatic climate control, a push-start-stop button, and a multifunctional steering wheel.

Volvo C40 Recharge:

Volvo is preparing to launch its C40 Recharge in India, according to multiple media reports. The C40 Recharge is essentially a coupe version of the XC40 Recharge SUV, but it features upgraded technology under the hood. The appearance and features of the vehicle are very similar to those of its SUV counterpart.

The C40 Recharge is expected to have a 78 kWh battery pack, which will provide an estimated WLTP driving range of 530 kilometers. This coupe-SUV model will also have all-wheel drive and fast charging capabilities of up to 150 kW. The vehicle can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 27 minutes using the fast charger.

Citroen C3 Aircross:

The Citroen C3 Aircross is a stretched version of the C3 hatchback that comes in five- and seven-seater configurations with removable third-row seats. A 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine, possibly tuned for higher performance than the hatchback’s specifications, will most likely power the SUV.

The SUV will initially come with a 6-speed manual transmission, with the possibility of an automatic transmission being added later

The Citroen C3 Aircross is expected to compete with compact SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, with an ex-showroom price of around 9 lahks.

Mahindra XUV e8

Mahindra is rumored to be planning a big event on August 15 to reveal the production-ready version of the XUV e8 or XUV700 EV. While the exterior is expected to be similar to that of the ICE, the front fascia, alloy wheels, and bronze elements will be different. There will also be interior updates and new features. The XUV e8 is expected to cost around 35 lakh ex-showroom.

Hyundai Alcazar Adventure Edition

As with Creta, Hyundai is preparing to launch the Adventure Edition of its recently launched 7-seater SUV, the Hyundai Alcazar, as part of its ongoing quest to provide exciting options. This edition may include the same features as the special edition Hyundai Creta.

Mechanically, the Alcazar Adventure Edition is powered by the same dependable 1.5-liter turbo-petrol and diesel engines that deliver exceptional performance and efficiency.
