Honda Activa 2023

Well before its April 2023 deadline, Honda Motorbike and Scooter India on Monday showcased the Activa 2023 that qualifies with OBD2. Many items are planned for the market for electric vehicles, according to Ogata, with the first model expected to be released in March next year. According to Ogata, who was speaking about Activa 2023, “Activa has re-activated the scooter market and has now been one of the top-selling two-wheelers for more than a decade. In order to match the constantly shifting demands of our clients, it has undergone many avatars.”

The Activa 2023 Honda smart key system has functions like smart unlock and smart start in addition to the response to the second technology that makes it easier to find the drive. Also, the two-wheeler incorporates the Mapped Smart ECU characteristics, which warn the owner in case their vehicle is stolen. Honda Activa Electrical 2024

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) CEO and MD Atushi Ogata has said that the company will introduce its first electrical scooter by March 2024. The electric motor and battery will be purchased locally to reduce costs. Many components from the previous ICE-powered Activa, including the braking system, will also be reused by Honda. With a new electric drivetrain fitted, the Activa electric scooter will be based on the current Activa petrol scooter and have a top speed of about 80-90 km/h. Honda will introduce a second electric scooter in India after the Activa launch that is built on a new platform and includes a swappable battery pack.

Honda plans to set up more than 6,000 battery-swapping stations at its consumer touch points before releasing the second electric scooter. The CEO did, however, note that the company is still motivated to continue the development and sale of ICE-powered cars because they use less gasoline to start up and can travel farther. The competition for the Honda Activa Electric includes the TVS Apache RTR 160, the Bajaj Pulsar 150, and the Bajaj Pulsar N160. Honda Activa EV is predicted to cost above 1 lakh.
