MPV like Innova Crysta, Kia Carnival, and Maruti ertiga are the popular ones. But are they affordable? except for Maruti ertiga the other two cars are a bit expensive and somehow hard to maintain. Here comes an option that attracts the MPV segment with an affordable price range. Renault triber is comparatively much affordable than Maruti Ertiga. Let’s check it out Renault Triber’s Interior, Variants, Price, features, and safety. – Renault Triber review
Design Elements
From the outside view, the Renault triber somehow reminds Renault kwid. The overall design gives a decent amount of attraction but it’s not the best one. Triber is designed in such a way that looks like a bit stretched Kwid Hatchback with an SUV touch. From its front design, it is the exact copy of Renault kwid. There is a large amount of chrome used parts in the body like Skid plates, Body cladding, Roof rails etc. In overall design pattern, the Renault triber is not a very attractive one but it justifies the price range which it comes in.
Renault Triber Interior
The interior of the Renault triber is a bit unique. The dual-tone color pattern and the materials used in the interior are pretty decent. The Renault’s interior is designed in such a way that to fit out more people inside the cabin which resulted in India’s first modular car. third-row seats of the car made it possible to fold and enjoy a massive boot space of almost 630Liters. But folding or reclining the third raw seat is not that much easy but you’ll be not doing this daily. The second raw the first raw seat gives a decent amount of knee room and headroom. The third-row seat of the triber is comparatively good but with full of comfort 3rd raw is still unthinkable. Well let’s check out the features Triber is offering
Features and Safety
The dashboard comes with an 8-inch touch screen infotainment system which is not premium but it’s usable and effective. Decent-designed Instrument cluster, sliding and reclining second-row seats and 60:40 third raw seats, separate AC vents for the second and third row, dual glove box. There are no steering-mounted controls which is a must.
Renault triber is made up of the CMFA platform which is used to Kwid. But Kwid scored a 0-star safety rating out of 5. But the Renault triber gave a shock! Triber scored 4 out of 5-star ratings in its recent Global NCAP crash test. The car offers safety features like ABS dual airbags and the top model comes with a side-impact airbag.
Engine and performance
The Renault triber comes with a 3 cylinder 1.0-liter petrol engine which generates 72 ps of maximum power and 96 nm of maximum torque which is not good enough for these kinds of car. The car weighs itself -less than a ton and when it fills with people may become problematic. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual and a 5 speed AMT transmission.
Triber Color options
The triber is offered in 10 different colors that are, Moonlight Silver, Electric Blue, Metal Mustard, Cedar Brown, Ice Cool White, and dual-tone colors like Cedar Brown with Black Roof, Moonlight Silver with Black Roof, Electric Blue with Black Roof, Ice Cool White with Black Roof, Metal Mustard with Black Roof.
Variants
The Renault triber is offered in 9 variants – RXE, RXL, RXL EASY-R AMT, RXT, RXT EASY-R AMT, RXZ, RXZ Dual Tone, RXZ EASY-R AMT, RXZ EASY-R AMT Dual Tone.
Which is the best variant of triber from the above?
If you are planning to buy Renault triber Manual or AMT the RXZ will be the suitable one.
