Exterior
Mahindra Thar looks bold and rugged in its exterior design. In terms of design, the Mahindra Thar follows the same design philosophy as most other offroaders like the Jeep wrangler, Mercedes G wagon Ford Bronco, and Force Gurkha.
The front view is rich with its circular headlamps and seven-slat grille. The new Mahindra Thar looks pretty similar to the premium offroader Jeep Wrangler in terms of its exterior design.

The power window switch is placed right behind the gear lever. The instrument panel comes with analog speedo and tacho coupled with a very detailed Multi-Information Display.

2184cc mHawk-130 diesel engine generates 130bhp of maximum power and 300Nm of maximum torque.
Both the mill mates with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Mahindra Thar gets a 57-liter fuel tank capacity and a boot space of 600 liters.
