Audi’s new electric cars, the 2025 A6 e-tron and S6 e-tron, will soon join the lineup. They offer sleek designs, advanced interiors, and strong performance. With prices starting around $70,000, these models are set to compete in the growing electric vehicle market.
2025 Audi A6 and S6 e-tron: A New Era for Audi’s Electric Vehicles
Audi is introducing two new electric cars 2025: the A6 e-tron and the S6 e-tron. These cars will join the gas-powered A6 and S6 models. You can start ordering these new electric vehicles in September 2024.
Exterior Design
The new A6 e-tron has a sleek, modern look. It has a hatchback design with a large taillight made of OLED lights. You can change how these lights look using the car’s settings menu. The car’s body is designed to be very aerodynamic, helping it move through the air more smoothly. European versions will have camera side mirrors, making them even more aerodynamic.
Interior Features
Inside, the A6 e-tron shares its design with the Q6 e-tron. It has a large curved panel with two displays. The infotainment display is 14.5 inches, and the driver’s display is 11.9 inches. There’s also an optional 14.5-inch display for the front passenger to watch videos or play games. A panoramic glass roof can change from transparent to opaque with a button, mimicking a shade or a checkerboard design. The car has 26 cubic feet of cargo space under the hatch and a small front trunk.
Battery and Range
The A6 e-tron has a 94.4-kWh battery, expected to provide a 350-mile range. Official numbers from the EPA are not yet available. The car supports fast charging with 800-volt architecture, allowing it to charge from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes on a DC quick charger.
Performance
The base single-motor A6 e-tron can go from 0 to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds. The two-motor A6 e-tron Quattro does it in 4.3 seconds. The high-performance S6 e-tron can reach 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds.

Price and Market Positioning
We expect the A6 e-tron to start at around $70,000. The more powerful versions will cost more. The top-of-the-line S6 e-tron might cost over $90,000. These prices make the A6 e-tron more affordable than Audi’s first electric four-door, the e-tron GT.
Competition
The A6 e-tron and S6 e-tron will compete with other electric sedans in the market. This includes models from Tesla, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz. These new Audis offer a mix of performance, luxury, and advanced technology.
