Royal Enfield has finally pulled the covers off one of its most talked-about motorcycles the Bullet 650. The big reveal happened at EICMA 2025, the world’s largest motorcycle show held in Milan, Italy. This new bike brings back the old charm of the Bullet but adds modern power and comfort to make it ready for a new generation of riders.
A Timeless Design
The Bullet 650 keeps the classic Royal Enfield look that fans love. It has the same teardrop-shaped fuel tank with hand-painted pinstripes, the famous winged badge, and the upright riding position that makes it instantly recognizable.
At the front, it now gets a modern LED headlamp placed inside the signature casquette housing with two “tiger-eye” pilot lamps on the sides a perfect mix of old and new design.
Even though the design feels nostalgic, the bike looks fresh and premium. Royal Enfield clearly wanted to make sure the Bullet 650 continues the legacy of the original Bullet, which has been around for more than 90 years.
Powerful and Proven Engine
Under the tank, the Bullet 650 uses the 648 cc parallel-twin engine the same one used in the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. This engine is well-known for being smooth, reliable, and full of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch, which helps reduce effort while changing gears and makes riding easier in traffic or on highways.
The twin-cylinder setup ensures a deep exhaust note that Royal Enfield bikes are famous for, giving the rider that satisfying thump, but in a more refined and vibration-free way.

The Bullet 650 uses a steel tubular spine frame that gives it strength and stability. It also features Showa suspension for better comfort and control on rough roads. The bike rides on wire-spoke wheels with tube-type tyres, keeping that authentic retro feel.
Both the front and rear disc brakes come with ABS, making it safer and more confidence-inspiring for new riders. It’s built for a relaxed, upright riding position perfect for city rides or long weekend trips.

Colours, Launch, and Availability
Royal Enfield has announced two colour options for the global market Cannon Black and Battleship Blue.
- The Cannon Black version will reach Europe and North America in 2026.
- The India launch is expected next year, though an exact date hasn’t been shared yet.
Once launched, it will join the brand’s growing 650 cc family along with the Interceptor, Continental GT, and Super Meteor.

The Bullet 650 is not trying to be a fast sports bike or a flashy cruiser. Instead, it’s a simple, elegant, and powerful retro motorcycle that focuses on comfort and charm.
