This is the pure Sangue, a Ferrari designed not for the racetrack but for the comfort of families. Ferrari, the icon of the sports car world, is doing something that 10 years ago we never imagined. Delivering its very first car with four doors four full-time seats and an interior dripping in luxury, they have flipped the world truly on its head. Some people would say that this car is a cynical attempt by Ferrari to cash in to capitalize on the success of the Lamborghini Urus and yes this is probably true. When we have a closer look at the Ferrari, it seems that it has torn up the rule book completely.
Performance:
The name PuroSangue is translated from Italian as pure blood. An odd choice for an SUV, you might think, but then it does use a thoroughbred Ferrari engine. The 6.5 liter naturally aspirated V12 borrowed from the a12 Super-fast. Here it has 725 horsepower, so it goes like a Ferrari, and it sounds like a Ferrari plus because they have used their seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The gear changes are lightning-quick.
This is a proper prancing horse. While this might feel like Ferrari turning the world of SUVs on its head, cynics will point to the fact that while the Pure Sangue trumps its Rivals for Peak power, Ferrari’s effort is down on talk with 716 Newton meters versus 850 in the Urus and 900 in the DBX 707.
But these particular numbers don’t matter because it is still surprisingly quick. This is as quick as you are going to accelerate in any SUV out of the factory. The top speed of Ferrari Pure Sangue is 194 miles an hour which is top of the class. And not to 144 miles an hour in 10.6 seconds, by maps. That is over a second quicker than the US performances and the DBX 707. We would simply say that it is just magical.
Starting Price:
The starting price of Ferrari’s family car is 313 thousand pounds which is approximately 33 million Indian rupees.
Exterior design:
The Ferrari Purosangue is an original design and is not based on lesser cars donated by a parent company. The first thing that will be noticed by everyone in Ferrari Purosangue is that it is split into distinct sections, a body-colored upper section and a black lower section which almost gives you the impression that the body is bolted to the chassis.
The face itself is typical of Ferrari in the modern era, so it has a lot in common with the Roma SF90 and the 296 GTB. But this car is much more adorable and attractive than all of those as it has an amazing stance, a good profile is just a brilliant thing to look at.
This car is finished in Rosso Corsa or traditional Ferrari red but regardless of which color you choose, all Purosangues have black stripes at the lower body across the front. It also has a forward-facing camera and some ultrasonic parking sensors. There are vents located upside the headlights which look like headlights, but they are vents to help channel air partly into the engine to keep things cool.
Interior design:
The Purosangue has electrically operated doors. The fronts open as normal, but the tears are operated using the tiny latch (attached to the doors) a short press just presents it to you but then a long press opens it automatically allowing you to step easily inside the car. Once you have stepped inside, you will have spacious headroom and a significant amount of leg room, and it is a quite comfortable place to hang out.
On the back seats, passengers will find a cabin airing more on the sporty rather than luxurious side with two individual seats. There are two seats and an armrest with a wireless charging dock and a pair of USB ports. There is also an optional sunroof which allows plenty of lights to come in or a carbon roof that comes as a standard as a family.
